Hello everyone. My name is Dan and I am raising funds for an epic road trip of all the lower 48 states beginning May 18, 2024 and ending August 1, 2024. I just turned 60 and my son Oliver is 18. He will be going off to Hampshire College in the fall.

 

We have always talked about a road trip, but I have never been able to take the necessary time off from work. The money we raise will allow me to make this happen for us. We plan to document our travels in video, photographs and in writing. Anyone who donates 20 dollars or more will receive a digital copy of our complete travel journal.

 

Along the way we plan to see some attractions and meet the great American people. Mostly we will be tent camping, but we also plan to stay in a hotel every four days or so just to knock the stink off. Our car is a 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which will make the journey even more interesting. With the mandatory phasing out of gas powered vehicles, this "gas and go" road trip may mark the final days of a great American tradition. This will be a grand adventure, and we will strive to seek some truths about our country. We intend to present whatever hits the fan; the good, the bad and the ugly.
